ASPCA For the Environment

Media has always been used or thought of for entertainment or pleasure purposes, only recently has it started being used as an outlet for companies to express their
products or agendas that pro environment. Environmentally friendly companies have taken advantage of the growing technology by using the internet, TV, web advertisements to get across their "green" message. With their efforts of wanting to educate the population of going "green", fighting against animal cruelty and making aware the eco-issues that are present in today's day and age, consumers have taken a major interest in environmental and animal causes, that had yet to be seen in past years. With a rise in the digital age Eco-friendly, animal friendly companies such as the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)branched out to use social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest to advertise to younger consumers to get them involved in their cause. The ASPCA has also used the "Go Green" platform but changed it to "Go Orange" to fit their cause of the prevention of animal cruelty.
Using such outlets and by reaching out to a younger target market by using their media outlets companies or agencies such as the ASPCA are able to gain momentum for their cause and are able to make the world a better place by educating consumers to better themselves and their community.
